Tokyo-based designer Yuta Ishihara launched Shihara in 2010, exploring geometric shapes and minimalism as the center of his collection. Under the innovative process of subtraction, Shihara utilizes concealed closures in his designs, allowing each to be styled in unique ways.  

On both ends of the earring are screw-on closures either set with a diamond or in plain gold. When worn it can be twisted in different ways to give a multitude of looks or used as an ear cuff.
